Making LookHUMAN Accessible to All
At LookHUMAN (and Print Syndicate, our parent company), we believe that our products and our websites should be accessible to everyone. That's why we are committed to providing a website experience that is accessible to the widest number of people, regardless of ability or technology. Our goal is to meet and exceed the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) so that our web content is more accessible and user-friendly for all people, including people with disabilities.
Assuring accessibility is an ongoing effort. Our work on the LookHUMAN website is still in progress and we will continue to roll out improvements towards our goal. The improvements we intend to complete during the fall of 2020 include:
- Supporting the use of assistive technology, including screen readers
- Allowing keyboard navigation across all pages
- Making sure the website has text available to describe all images through commonly supported and recognized assistive tagging conventions
- Achieving Level AA WCAG compliance this year and continuing to work towards maximum accessibility
